Hi! Welcome to Chasing Flamel. This is a place for me to organize my thoughts on health and fitness. My goal to collect and display practical, easy to access advice, and track of my own personal journey as I strive to become as healthy as possible, for as long as possible.
How much should I workout? How should I workout? How much Protein should I be consuming? How much Fiber is enough? How much Fiber is too much? Do I need to sleep more?(Always yes) What does Fish Oil do? Does running or walking burn more fat? What does Healthy mean?

We are constantly bombarded by health and fitness advice of all sorts and from all angles.
To quote my father: “When it comes to advertising, we never stood a chance”.
We are surrounded by media every second of every day. All of which is trying to push and persuade us in one direction or another. So I’ve chosen to do the same with the goal of filtering and condensing my own thoughts to help both myself and others. I want clear, easy to access information I can turn to when I get caught up in my thoughts. When I am taking in new information I want a place I can look back on to compare with what has already been mentally digested.
My two categories for now, Health and Fitness, are where you will find most of my articles. Any article involving health and fitness will include links you can follow to learn more about the topic of discussion. My Protocol is where I will list out everything I am currently doing in my daily life. This will cover everything from my sleep schedule, diet, workout plans, and even personal body metrics. This is a journey we walk together, and you’ll see what I am doing every step of the way.
